- DURING INITIAL INSPECTION THE TECHNCIAIN SCANED FOR CODES AND FOUND SERVAL CODES: P10E4, P129D,B1325 AND TESTED THE BATTERY. THE BATTERY TESTED AT 390 CCA OUT OF 730 CCA AND SOME OF THE CODES COULD BE RELATED TO THE FACT THAT THE BATTERY NEEDS REPLACED. FROM THERE RL UPDATED THE CUSTOMER, AND SHE APPROVED TO REPLACE THE BATTERY.
- TEST BATTERY FOR CURRENT CONDITION. NOTE ACTUAL CCA OR CA SPECIFICATION. NOTE TEST RESULTS. ATTACH RESULTS PRINT OUT IF NEEDED.
- DISCONNECT BATTERY HOLD DOWN AND BATTERY CABLES. REMOVE BATTERY. CLEAN CONNECTIONS IF REQUIRED. INSTALL NEW BATTERY, ATTACH CABLES, TORQUE HOLD DOWN. 6/21/24 – AFTER REPLACING THE BATTERY, THE TECHNICIAN TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND STILL EXPERIENCED A SLIGHT SHUTTERING. FROM THERE THE TECHNICIAN ALSO NOTED THAT THERE ARE T.S.B.'S ABOUT THE TRANSMISSION AND THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL. THE NEXT STEP WOULD BE TO CHANGE THE FLUIDS AND RETEST. FROM THERE IF PROBLEM PERSISTS, CUSTOMER IS ADVISED TO SEE DEALER FOR WARRANTY PURPOSES. RL UPDATED THE CUSTOMER ABOUT WHAT THE TECHNICIAN EXPERIENCED, AND WHAT THE TECHNICIAN FOUND IN THE TSB, AND HIS RECOMMENDATION TO START WITH THE FLUID CHANGE, AFTER THE ESTIMATE WAS PROVIDED, SHE APPROVED TO DO THE FLUSHES.
- TRANSMISSION DRAIN AND FILL
- REMOVE THE NEEDED SHIELDS AND COVERS TO GAIN ACCESS AS NEEDED TO THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL COVER BOLTS AND COVER. CLEAN THE GASKET SEALING SURFACES AND COVER. CLEAN OUT THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL AND REASSEMBLE WITH NEW HEAVY DUTY SEALER AND/OR GASKET. FILL WITH F
